The LMP Display Dock 2 has all common video connections and supports up to two monitors with 4K@60 Hz. This makes it the most comprehensive USB-C video dock on the market: 2x HDMI (4K@60 Hz), Mini DisplayPort (4K@60 Hz), DisplayPort (4K@60 Hz), DVI (1080p@60 Hz) and VGA (1080p@60 Hz).

Thanks to the dual USB-C connection to the host (Mac), Display Dock 2 lets you extend your video content to two external monitors (dual 4K monitor support/extended mode) - each with maximum resolution and refresh rate. This allows you to run up to three different images simultaneously and independently. It is ideal for the professional user, the passionate cineaste or the avid gamer. Take advantage of 4K video with a high-frequency refresh rate of 60 Hz.

In addition to the 6 video ports, the LMP USB-C Display Dock 2 connects to the outside world via Gigabit Ethernet and has two USB 3.0 ports for data transfer. One of them is optimised for charging a smartphone or tablet thanks to the implemented BC 1.2 standard.

The two USB-C ports fulfil different tasks - one as a charging port of the host (Power Delivery 3.0/100W) and one for data transfer with up to 5 Gbit/s. The audio output (3.5 mm jack) enables the connection of a speaker or headphones. For full functionality, both USB-C connection cables must be connected to the host.

Please note: For dual 4K monitor use, HDMI 1 + HDMI 2 or DisplayPort or Mini-DisplayPort or VGA or DVI must be used. A combination without HDMI 1 (e.g. DisplayPort and Mini-DisplayPort) does not work (no Extended Mode). A graphics card with DisplayPort 1.4/HBR 3 is required for 4K@60 Hz (all Mac from 2018), while older Mac will display 4K@30 Hz.
