The Ubiquiti Ethernet Surge Protector is an outdoor ESD protection for all network devices. It has two Gbit network ports and supports IEEE 802.3af PoE.
The device provides ESD/EMP protection from 100V/s up to 1kV/μs. Therefore, the Ethernet Surge Protector is often used as lightning protection.
