rapid disk replacement. Pegasus5 R12 runs whisper quiet on the desktop and is designed for easy portability.
Pegasus5 R12 provides up to 288TB utilizing PromiseRAID hardware RAID engine. PromiseRAID is
a core technology for the PROMISE Pegasus line, renowned for storage performance and data safety.
A consequence of very large capacity HDD is an increased risk of failure. Predictive Data Migration
(PDM), exclusive to PromiseRAID systems, performs periodic storage media analysis to anticipate
potential drive problems and auto- matically takes corrective action before any drive failure occurs.
