The RS1221+/RS1221RP+ is ideal for confined space deployments with depths of just 30 and 38 centimetres respectively. With over 100,000 4K random read IOPS and 2,315 MB/s sequential read throughput*1, the RS1221+/RS1221RP+ can easily handle demanding applications in data-intensive environments.
The redundant power supply further protects the RS1221RP+ from power failures.

Compact design
The RS1221+ and RX418 expansion unit are designed to be particularly compact for space-saving use in confined areas. At 30 cm, they are only half the depth of ordinary 2U units and fit perfectly into rack stands or narrow racks. The dual-powered RS1221RP+, at 38 cm deep, also fits in most narrow racks.
